Headquartered in Manchester we collaborate with over 500 retailers globally and deal with a nationwide network of clients, integrating with all major selling platforms and shippers. 

We're now looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our fast growing team in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales ledger

  • Liaise with the Depot network where necessary in the collation, validation of operational activity to be billed
  • Import billing data from third party software/customer portals where required ensuring data integrity at all times
  • Customer statement reconciliations
  • Credit control/Bad debt collection
  • Invoice production and distribution
  • Customer queries
  • New customer accounts set up

Purchase ledger

  • Processing supplier invoices and credit notes
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Supplier queries
  • Set up new Supplier account set up
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Setting up supplier payments
  • Cash posting to customer, supplier, and general ledgers
  • Allocating receipts against invoices/credit notes

Ad hoc

  • Weekly cash reports
  • Taking phone calls
  • General administrative duties

Job requirements

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and sound judgment
  • Excellent IT Skills -familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
